Vespasian

VespasianI just added this coin of the emperor Vespasian to the gallery. Vespasian reigned from 69 to 79 AD. He was the first of the three emperors of the Flavian dynasty. He started the construction of the Colosseum, which was finished under his son and successor, Titus, and which was originally named the Flavian Amphitheater after him.

Canis Nova Parva Mea

I try to keep this blog on topics relating to ancient history, however, I wanted to post a picture of my new puppy. Sooo, to maintain the integrity of this blog to it’s intended purpose, I have given this post a Latin title meaning “My new little dog.” :)
