Hi Mark. I acquired it from Sayles and Lavender. It was mine until very recently. I sent it in with a group of coins to Forvm to be consigned a few days ago. It’s not even listed there yet. It is a great coin but not within my focus of Roman Republican coins. Sorry, no coins from Lytra or Derbe.

Hello Brian,
Where did you get the Colossai coin? Is it your’s? I have a couple from there. Do you have any from Lytra or Derbe? I used to collect Biblical coins, coins of persons and cities in the Bible. But lately I’ve switched to Constantine and his family with chi-rhos.

Hi James. I guess great minds think alike. hehe.

I also have another coin of J. Caesar, the one with the elephant on the obverse. It is in better shape than my portrait denarius.

As for the Sabinus denarius, I have been looking for a nice one of these for awhile. I found that one at a nice price.
