Well this site is over two years old now. Thanks to everyone who has visited and special thanks to all who link here.
After several years of collecting ancient coins, I have finally found a focus. It is a weak focus but a focus nonetheless. Roman Republican coins. It should be obvious by my last few months worth of purchases. I will probably have to consign some more coins to pursue this new direction. hehe.

I am going to be updating this site to the latest version of Wordpress. It has been a few years since I did that, plus I slightly hacked the old version, so it may not go perfectly the first time. Just a heads up if you come here and it is all screwed up.

German researchers claim to have identified the hippodrome at Olympia, in Western Greece, some 1,600 years after the historic sports venue disappeared under river mud.
This would be very cool if it happens. An historical society, Vadis Al Maximo, is trying to bring them back.
I apologize for the lack of posting lately. I haven’t been purchasing many coins lately. On the contrary, I have been consigning some on Forvm. Now go there and buy some now! 
I joined the ACCG (Ancient Coin Collectors Guild) a few weeks ago after some time procrastinating. If you have a few spare bucks and would like to help protect our right to collect, I recommend that you join. It seems like threats to our hobby keep popping up lately. I have also been busy doing some landscaping and gardening now that it has finally warmed up here in northern New England. I have been digging many holes but still haven’t found any coins. 
I have started a long term translation (Latin to English) project. I won’t say what it is right now because it is long, and I may not finish it. Posting should be slow for a while but steady. I hope everyone has a great spring.
